This is my first step in a world I'm going to create for myself. I've blogged before, maintaining an audio-blog under my mom's name, but just for the heck of it, I wanted a tiny space in this vast virtual-world to represent something both personal and special, something that might not mean ANYTHING to most people but mean A LOT to one, something I completely identify with... something called... ME.
Why blog?
Lets see now...
1) Because everyone else is doing it (lame!lame!)
2) Because a LOT of my friends are into it (another lame one!)
3) Because I'm bored and NEED to waste some time ('go study or cloud-watching' you might say)
4) Because I want to (BINGO!!!)
On a serious note...
Crossing over the boundary of school life I've stepped into some months of college. While making this journey, there has been one thing that had been a constant: CHANGE. A pestering, nagging reminder, that I've 'grown up' and that everything around me - people, places, dimensionless thoughts - everything is and was bound to change; slow, sulky, inevitable! I've grown out of that stage where school meant fun-and-masti and respect for elders, irresepective of their political-emotional-psychological perspectives was expected to come naturally. I've grown out of that tiny cocoon of care. Its sometimes scary... all this change. Kind of, makes one feel as if life itself is so worthless, so transcient. But fight through it I will.
I'd agree with Cummings: 'To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.'
And I plan to do just that.
